Grace Note Music is an experienced music school offering music lessons in North Billerica, Groton, Lowell, and Concord. No other music school in the area has as great a reputation, and if you give us the chance, we’ll show you why!

Our instructors are kind and experienced instrumentalists who take great satisfaction in bringing the fun and joy of music to their students. Our instructors use a variety of methods to instruct their students, and they also covers the different aspects of music including theory, ear training, technique, and memorization during music lessons. While it may seem overwhelming at first, our instructors are able to do all of this with a fun and friendly attitude, putting the students at ease and allowing them to enjoy each and every lesson. Lesson times are Monday through Friday by appointment.  The studio is closed on Saturday and Sunday. 

As students acquire musical literacy from music lessons, they can play all styles of music as diverse as jazz, pop, classical, baroque, impressionist, show tunes, cartoon themes for kids, sonatas, folk, accompaniments with vocalists and instrumentalists, or most anything else in print.

Our music lessons are available for all ages and levels – from beginner to advanced.  (Minimum age is approximately 4-5 years old.)  The only requirement to get started is a desire to learn and an instrument at home for you to practice between lessons. For piano lessons, a keyboard instead of a piano can be used and must have at least 61 piano-sized keys. If you do not have an instrument yet, your instructor can help you decide what will best suit your needs.

Grace Note Music provides music lessons for all ages. We teach a variety of instruments, including:

This depends on the level and age of the student, and how fast they want to progress.  Our instructors explain to all students how to practice efficiently to get the most done in less time.  Typically students are expected to practice 30 minutes per day but they can break it into two 15 minute sections at different times of the day.  Longer lessons for more advanced students require 45 minutes or 1 hour per day if that is their chosen length of the weekly lesson.
