Here at Gracenote Music we know that life can be complicated. We also know that successful and fulfilling musical studies depend on regular commitment. That’s why we’ve designed a cancellation policy to give you as much flexibly as possible while still promoting consistency. 

PLEASE NOTE

• Zoom Lessons are a great way to still complete lessons when a child is sick, any weather concerns, or rescheduling is not going to otherwise work. A discount can be given due to loss of in person time.

• LESSON(S) MUST BE PURCHASED BEFORE THE LESSON TIME

Cancellation Policy

Lesson Cancellations must be made 24 hours before the scheduled time. If cancellation is due to COVID protocol a zoom lesson may be offered. Otherwise the lesson will be forfeited.

Make-up Lessons

 Any lessons cancelled at least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled lesson will receive a make up zoom lesson at a time convenient to both teacher and student. 

Typically make up lessons take place at an alternate time/day within the week. In some cases, the make up lesson will be added after/before the original lesson time, enabling the student to have an hour lesson. 

Payments

 Invoices are sent either bi weekly or monthly. 

 Receipts and reminders will be sent out to let you know when the fees are due. 

 All lesson fees are due in advance of your first lesson of the lesson package. 

 There are no refunds for late cancellations (within 24 hours).

Teachers

Teachers may occasionally need to reschedule a lesson due to illness, family emergency or professional engagement. Teachers will notify students as soon as possible of foreseeable absences. Except in the case of an emergency, teachers are expected to reschedule lessons 24 hours in advance. Teacher will provide a make up lesson within the month.
